Fix the playground safety hazards
Our main playground has a cracked slide and holes in the rubber safety matting, don't wait until kids get hurt!
What we’re asking for
Schedule the slide replacement and matting repair, and complete the work before students return in September.

Subject: Urgent: playground safety hazards at PS 889 (work order {workOrder})
Dear Linda Dalton, D22, I'm a parent at PS 889 in Brooklyn, and I'm writing to ask for your help with an urgent safety problem in our schoolyard. The main playground slide is cracked and the rubber safety matting has holes in several spots. These are real injury risks for young children during recess and after-school play. The problem was reported by our Principal, but it has not yet been resolved. As Family Support Coordinator, District 22, you can help make sure this is fixed before students return. We are asking that the slide replacement and matting repair be scheduled and completed before the start of the school year. Thank you for helping keep our kids safe.
The greeting changes to each official’s name when you send.
